Job description Head of Maintenance
•Manage all maintenance activities in the company,
•Ensuring the proper working of all systems in the facility,
•Prepare and implement short term and long term maintenance programs,
•Complying with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules while carrying out maintenance functions.
•Manage an effective maintenance team; provide leadership and motivation to the team
•Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness to ensure all sub-ordinates are aware of standards expected.
•Assure Asset Integrity standards are maintained by planning, organizing, scheduling and controlling all maintenance work for assigned field asset
•Lead the execution of maintenance assuring that all allocated responsibilities are dealt with accordingly.
Requirements Head of Maintenance
•A minimum of fifteen (15) years experience in an onshore/offshore rig/ drilling oil and gas environment and around 5 years in a similar role as well as a strong background in the Oil and Gas sector.
•Experience with implementation of maintenance strategies
•Proved experience working with service/maintenance of production facilities for oil & gas such as rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, generators, CAT engines, cranes, turbines, HVAC) and static components (pressure vessels, coolers, valves) in either field or factory setting is desirable
•Experience with data acquisition methods as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) process, CMMS background and experience using other reliability centered tools and applications experience is mandatory
•Ability to work effectively and prioritize in a high performance, fast-paced work environment
•Ability to delegate work assignments, give authority to work independently, set expectations and monitor delegated activities
•Managerial, supervisory and hands on experience in onshore/ offshore facilities.
•Inspires and motivates others to work well and accepts feedback
